Heavy Duty European Concealed Hinge

$3240 Each

Fasteners Not Included

  • European style hinge and mounting plate system for larger overlay doors on frameless cabinets.
  • May be used on a face frame cabinet by "blocking out" behind the cabinet face frame.
  • This concealed European hinge is made of two parts, a hinge and a mounting plate, that snap together.

  • Works on door thicknesses of from 18 mm (23/32") to 34 mm (approximately 1-5/16"). For door thicknesses over 30 mm, the edge of the door needs to be chamfered.
  • For door overlays of from 20 mm (25/32") to 25 mm (just under 1")
  • This European style hinge Requires a 40 mm cup drilled in the back of the door. Cup depth is 15 mm.
  • Hinge is 3-way adjustable after installation.
  • Click on links below for bore distance, door thickness, and overlay chart.
  • This hinge is NOT a zero protrusion hinge:
    • The door when open does not clear the cabinet opening
    • It cannot be used with pull outs like drawers or pull out shelves
  • Screws are not included. The hinge requires two #10 screws and the mounting plate requires four, for a total of six screws. Screw length varies depending on the thickness of your door and cabinet side wall. Note that our #10 screws come in packs of two.

  • Using 2 hinges per door:
    • Maximum door weight of 55 lbs
    • Maximum door width of 31-1/2"
  • Using 3 hinges per door:
    • Maximum door weight of 88 lbs
    • Maximum door width of 35-7/16"

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does it take to get my hardware once it's been ordered?

The delivery time depends on how far you live from our San Diego warehouse. Generally, your order will reach you in 1 to 5 business days. Shipments do not move on weekends and holidays.

Do you ship merchandise outside the United States?

At this time, we only ship to addresses in the continental United States, Alaska, and Hawaii. For APO/FPO/DPO and Canadian orders, please email with a list of the SKU numbers and quantities you would like to purchase, along with your complete ship to address. Once we receive this information we will email you a shipping quote. Please note: Canadian shipments have a $50.00 minimum order.

I have a hinge that I am trying to replace but I need help identifying it. Can you help?

Yes! Please click here to visit our Hinge Finder page.

Some of your hinges are sold by the each and some sell by the pair. What is the difference?

When the unit of measure says “pair” that means two hinges. Usually you need one pair of hinges per door. When the unit of measure says “each” that means one hinge. You would usually order 2 “each” hinges per door.

I want to replace my hinges. How do I make sure the screw holes on the new hinge match the screw holes on the old hinge so I do not have to redrill the holes?

Unfortunately, hinge manufacturers have never standardized the location of their screw hole patterns. Every manufacturer puts their screw holes in a slightly different place. This means that when you replace hinges you will almost certainly have to do some filling and redrilling. The exception to this is Architectural door hinges which are built to a standardized template for each size hinge.
