Whether you are looking for a solution for your casement windows or awning windows, we have all your needs covered in one convenient place.
The hardware you choose will depend entirely on the type of window you are restoring. Both awning and casement windows are commonly referred to as crank windows, because they are opened by a cranking mechanism. Both types of windows are also designed to provide maximum ventilation and natural light, but there are several distinct differences to keep in mind. Awning windows are hinged at the top, opening outward and upward. You will typically find awning windows where the width of the opening is greater than the height. Casement windows are hinged at the side and open outward, either to the left or the right. You will typically find casement windows where the height of the opening is greater than the width. We keep our inventory stocked with top-of-the-line products made for both types of windows.
Awning Window Hinges: Our selection of Truth hinges includes a handful of options for you to choose from. Truth's awning hinge system comes fully equipped with adjustable friction screws, so you can customize the effort required to open and close your awning window. As the window opens, the hinges balance the sash to ensure smooth and effortless operation. Each awning hinge features a delrin shoe and stainless-steel reinforcement to provide continuous, fluid action and solid support. We carry hinges for a wide range of sash openings, ranging from 10 to 42 inches.
Casement Window Hinges: Our selection features an array of Truth casement hinges, many of which are constructed from high-grade stainless steel to provide corrosion protection in demanding environments or applications in coastal areas. An egress hinge is designed to open at 90 degrees for fire escape safety. When fully open, the sash is positioned close to the side jamb to allow an average sized person the ability to escape through the opening in case of an emergency. You should always check with your local building department for requirements and ensure compliance. Wherever local building requirements do not apply, you will find what you need in our selection of non-egress hinges.

Double Acting: Double acting hinges swing in both directions.
Ball Bearing: Ball bearing hinges have ball bearings to act as a buffer between the knuckles. They tend to be quieter and more durable than plain bearing hinges. They are recommended for heavy doors and doors fitted with closers.
Roller Bearing: Roller bearings are able to support very heavy loads. Many of our heavy duty gate hinges are equipped with roller bearings.
Frameless: Frameless cabinets do not have a face-frame, and instead rely on thicker side panels for strength. Frameless cabinets are very common in Europe, but have steadily been making their way into America, as they lend themselves well to contemporary and modern designs.

Radius Corner: Radius corners are typically only available on residential grade hinges. Corners are mortised using a router.

Double Demountable: Requires a slot be cut into the door and the cabinet frame.
