Nice to see these Spring Hinges made in America which you don't see too often. Simple fix for my client that hated their kids leaving the doors opened around the house. They don't teach them like they use to!!

A 04/24/2018, 2:29:38 PM It is just steel based, if you are near the coast it will corrode quickly, see our stainless steel version below, as well as our hardened black polymer which is great for outdoor use and gates. https://www.hardwaresource.com/door/door-hinges/spring-hinges.html?hs_material=355 https://www.hardwaresource.com/gate/gate-hinges/swimming-pool-gate-hinges.html
Q Brad Lehoux • 07/05/2018, 8:29:02 AM Considering buying a bunch of these. Would they work ok if welded or do you have any better options if I wanted to weld? Looking to order thirty four
A 07/05/2018, 9:01:40 AM If you are looking for a weld on spring butt hinge, this would indeed be your best bet, the finish may have to be removed slightly first before you can weld, or it may come off due to the heat of the welding, but we don't have a specific spring butt hinge that is blank and designed for welding.
