1 Question asked about Variable Overlay Semi-Concealed Hinge, Sterling Nickel
Q Daniel Nix • 07/12/2018, 6:59:10 PM I am trying to replace old bronze hinges with satin/nickel. I need 50 hinges. I need to know the exact dimensions of the screw holes that attach the hinge to the cabinet door. I'm trying to avoid filling and redrilling 150 screw hoes. The 2 1/8" dimension on the hinge cabinet is good. Also, can you provide the Amerock part number? Thanks, Daniel Nix
A 07/13/2018, 9:13:02 AM Unfortunately, semi-concealed hinges are very difficult to find replacements for. They are not standardized so dimensions and hole spacing can vary significantly. Even small dimensions of the hinge pin can affect whether or not a semi-concealed hinge will work with your door. More often than not, the screw holes will need to be re-drilled for new hinges. To be sure these hinges will work for your cabinets, we recommend purchasing samples. The mfg does not provide us with any screw hole dimensions for the back of the door, and as stated, even if they were the same, if the pin dimensions were different that can throw everything off, and there is no standard for that either. The Amerock part number for the hinge in question is BPR7329G9.
