5 Questions asked about Small Pivot Hinge for Inset Doors

Q Ned • 02/06/2018, 7:19:55 AM I'm trying to replace a broken hinge on a bathroom medicine cabinet door. My door consist of 1/8" mirror to be glued to the 5/32" composite backing (cardboard or some other cheap material). Will this hinge work for this arrangement? If not, what do you have that would work or do you have a any other suggestions?
A 02/06/2018, 10:47:30 AM This hinge is commonly used on applications like that. As long as you can mortise the hole for the pivots to sit into, you should be fine using this hinge.
Q Johnathan Morgans • 06/27/2018, 5:55:02 PM I need a small pivot hinge. What is the size of this one?
A 06/28/2018, 8:40:11 AM This pivot hinge requires a 3/8" hole for the plastic pivot bushing.
Q Carl • 09/02/2018, 8:56:12 AM How do these pivot hinges attach to the door? I have a medicine cabinet door with a mirror that is approximately 1/4 inch thick. Will these work?
A 09/04/2018, 10:02:26 AM They are designed for thin doors, and should be able to work on that door thickness, the hinge will mount in a small hole at the top and bottom of the frame, and then it will have small screws that go into the door in the back also up at the to and bottom. Q edward clausell • 10/17/2018, 1:57:01 PM I bought the hinge above from you but it is 3/4 inch deep. My hinge is 1/2 inch deep. Do you have a hinge just like this one that is 1/2 inch deep (elbow to end of pivot)?
A 10/18/2018, 8:32:32 AM Edward, We dont carry one that is a 1/2" deep, but these two here are smaller than 1/2", perhaps you can get one of them to work; https://www.hardwaresource.com/wood-door-pivot-hinge-13-16.html https://www.hardwaresource.com/woods-doors-pivots-hinges-25-32-inches-2.html
