Description
- Right angle or "L" type pivot hinge.
- Also known as a knife hinge.
- Allows doors to be set back and swing clear of cabinet corners.
- Hinge pairs do not come handed. But, you will receive one "left hand" and one "right hand" hinge in the poly bag (i.e. one top hinge and one bottom hinge) for each pair ordered.
- For one pair, the head of the rivet will face one up and one down.
- If you want both rivet heads to face upwards, order two pairs of hinges and match the LH and RH hinges as pairs. Sorry, that's the way we are forced to buy them.
- The short arm measures 7/8" from the center of the rivet to the corner of the hinge.
- The long arm measures 1-3/4"

When the unit of measure says “pair” that means two hinges. Usually you need one pair of hinges per door. When the unit of measure says “each” that means one hinge. You would usually order 2 “each” hinges per door.

Unfortunately, hinge manufacturers have never standardized the location of their screw hole patterns. Every manufacturer puts their screw holes in a slightly different place. This means that when you replace hinges you will almost certainly have to do some filling and redrilling. The exception to this is Architectural door hinges which are built to a standardized template for each size hinge.
