do these come handed left or right.

These hinges are sold by the pair with one left and one right hinge (one for the top and one for the bottom of a cabinet door).

Hi NThibodeau! We have an HL hinge that is 3" in height, but it will not be 3" open width. You will have to redo screw holes, because the patterns won't line up unfortunately with what we have to offer.
