If you need doors to open a full 180 degrees in either direction and have the ability to self-close, you need the heavy-duty double acting spring hinge. This mounting option is also referred to as a Saloon Door Hinge due to its swinging ability. There are three different models to choose from to best suit your door thickness and weight.
The heavy-duty double acting spring hinge will provide the mobility you need for the doors in your home or business. When installed, the double-acting spring hinges allow the door to open 180 degrees both ways. They're great because the spring tension is adjustable, meaning you'll be able to choose how quickly the door closes. The manufacturer recommends using three hinges per door for heavier doors. However, two hinges may be used for lighter doors. When choosing the right model for your specific door's height and weight, note that the size is the height of the plate that mounts on the door and jamb.
To perfectly match your home or business's color scheme, you may choose from Oil Rubbed Bronze, Satin Brass, and Zinc finishes. We also offer a hinge option that's primed for painting so you can choose your unique color finish.
