5 Questions asked about Truth Entrygard Dual Arm Casement Operator

Q Harry • 05/17/2018, 7:02:58 PM is the short arm (4 7/16") offset up, or offset down?
A 05/18/2018, 8:30:07 AM Hi Harry! The offset is going upward.
Q Bud Branch • 07/06/2018, 12:40:45 PM How do I know "hand" of SKU C10509? My old hdwe has an "L" stamped on the bent arm. Do I order lefthand?
A 07/09/2018, 10:09:07 AM I would compare yours to the photo of the left hand or right hand, which will change when you select them from the drop down. Official Truth Handing is when you are standing outside of the window looking into the house, which way does the window open out towards.
Q Tim Morawski • 05/13/2019, 10:22:52 AM This appears to be the correct operator (right hand, long arm has 40754 stamped on it) and measurements agree. However, my offset is down, not up. Is there another operator with same dimensions but offset down?
A 06/17/2019, 4:19:37 PM Tim, The mfg no longer makes them with different arm configurations. you may just want to purchase a new stud bracket as well, and that should solve your issue. See here; https://www.hardwaresource.com/search-results?Search=Stud%20Bracket
Q Dale Hall • 07/19/2021, 4:02:20 PM How is handedness (left vs right) determined? Is it the side of the window that is hinged?
A 09/04/2018, 2:36:52 PM The official handing is; when you are standing outside the window looking into the house which way does the window open out towards. You can also click on the LH and RH too help detemrine which one yous looks like.
Q Wayne beacham • 07/19/2021, 4:04:12 PM I need both a right and left casement operator. Is the number 20755 the Same for both . Do I specify 20755L and20755R when I order
A 07/09/2018, 9:15:10 AM Hi Wayne! There should be a drop down menu on that product page above the quantity box and the price where you can select the handing option (either Left or Right Hand).
