satin chrome 3 inch hinge 272182 how thick is this hinge? How much weight can this support? I need to support an 8lb cabinet door. Can a no-mortise hinge support 8lbs (2 hinges on the side) or do I need a thicker hinge like a standard butt hinge?

This hinge is about 1/16" thick. The manufacturer has not tested it for weight ratings. Two should be able to support an 8 pound door, but this hinge should be used at your best judgment.
