- For cabinets with a face frame, half the hinge is visible on the faceframe and half the hinge is mounted on the back of the door.
- For cabinets with a face frame where both leaves of the hinge are visible from the front of the cabinet. There is also a concealed version of a surface mounted hinge.
- Wrap around hinges show the hinge pin from the front of the cabinet. They include both partial and full wrap hinges that attach to the back of the door and the edge or back of the face frame or side panel.
Demountable hinges are a unique style of hinge that mounts on the cabinet or door or both the cabinet and door with a flat insert that fits in a slot. We have over 20 different demountable hinges in this section.
Youngdale hinges are an excellent alternative to European style hinges for a concealed hinge look. They can be installed on overlay doors and on 3/8" partial inset doors. They work on both face frame cabinets and non-face frame cabinets (frameless).
- European hinges attach from the back of the door and to the inside of the side panel or the edge of the face frame. They are completely concealed.
- Pivot hinges come in a wide variety of types. They work on a door that pivots at two points rather than along a hinge pin. Some can be installed as concealed hinges.
- Pivot door slides allow your door to pivot open and then slide back into the sides of the cabinet.
- Entertainment center or armoire hinges are used to open cabinet doors wide enough to view a television monitor.
- These Ball Tip hinges are full mortise hinges for cabinets. They are the most beautiful hinges of the type that we have found. They are solid brass and come in the following finishes: Polished Brass, Polished Chrome, Antique Brass, Satin Nickel and Dark Bronze.
