Wrap around butt hinges have a bend in one or both hinge leaves, which wraps around the back of the door and or the face frame of the cabinet. Because of this wrap around, these hinges are will only fit 3/4" thick doors. The purpose of the wrap around is to give the hinge more attachment points.
