This offset pivot hinge is used for full size doors where it is not possible or desirable to mount the bottom pivot on the floor. The bottom pivot mounts to the horizontal door jamb.
Pivot set includes top pivot and bottom pivot. Made from solid brass, pivoting mechanism and ball bearings are steel.
For interior and exterior doors up to 4 ft wide and 8 ft tall weighing a maximum of 450lbs.
The bottom pivot is installed mortised into the door jamb.
After installation the door may be vertically adjusted 3/16".
PLEASE NOTE; these pivot sets are handed right and left. The pivot in the photo is a right hand pivot.
Matching wood screws and full installation instructions are included.
Doors will swing 180 degrees (trim permitting).

Doors over 60" require the use of an intermediate pivot. Every additional 30" of door height warrants the addition of another intermediate pivot. For an intermediate pivot use our 3/4" Offset Intermediate Pivot.
Pivot sets are handed (see hinge handing information section for information on how to determine door handing).
Doors will swing 180 degrees (trim permitting).
Complete with screws.

Use with either of our 3/4" offset pivot sets (either the 250lb or the 400lb).
This hinge cannot be used with center hung doors.
