• Using an adapter plate and a 120 degree half cranked hinge it is possible to install a European concealed hinge on an inset door on a face frame cabinet.
• For each hinge set needed order one each SKU 268225 (Face Frame Adapter Plate) and one each SKU 652308 (hinge). For a typical cabinet size door you would order 2 adapter plates and 2 hinges. The SKU 268225 Face Frame Adapter Plate is offered for purchase during checkout.
• Screws are not included but are offered for purchase during checkout. Order two Blum screws per hinge and order two #8 pan head sheet metal screws per adapter plate.
• After installation the door is completely adjustable.
• Hinge requires a 35mm (1-3/8") cup drilled in back of door. See installation information below for recommended bore distances.
• To drill the angled holes for the adapter plate the purchase of the Blum Platemate is highly recommended. The Blum Platemate clamps on the edge of the face frame and allows accurate drilling of the adapter plate screw holes. The Platemate includes a drill bit and drill bit extension for a #8 drill bit (2.5mm bit).The Blum Platemate (SKU 268227) is offered for purchase during checkout for the Adapter Plate.
