Description
If you're looking for a traditional cabinet knob, the Alcott Knob is a fantastic choice. It's produced by Atlas Homewares, a decorative hardware company established in 1994 by designer Adrienne Morea. If you're installing cabinetry in a customer's home or refinishing existing ones, these knobs evoke a sense of sophistication without the high price tag.
The Alcott Knob has the unique ability to look great on cabinets in any room. This square knob is made of zinc alloy, which offers inherent corrosion protection and a very durable make. The edges are rounded, so they look less sharp and cold. The Alcott knobs are offered in two distinguished finishes. The Brushed Nickel has more of a matte appeal, whereas the Polished Nickel is highly reflective. They're extremely easy to install and we include the mounting hardware with your purchase so you can get everything you need at once. These can beautifully accent bathrooms, kitchens, and other cabinetry. If you're a home builder or contractor, having a full stock of each finish will allow you to offer even more knob options to your customers. We guarantee they'll be a popular knob in your inventory. Homeowners can install these too without the need to hire outside assistance.
We keep the Alcott Knobs in stock, so we'll be able to quickly ship out your order by the next business day. Need a fast answer and can't wait on an email reply? Send a message to our online agents via LiveChat, located at the bottom right of our website. When the unit of measure says “pair” that means two hinges. Usually you need one pair of hinges per door. When the unit of measure says “each” that means one hinge. You would usually order 2 “each” hinges per door.
I want to replace my hinges. How do I make sure the screw holes on the new hinge match the screw holes on the old hinge so I do not have to redrill the holes?
I want to replace my hinges. How do I make sure the screw holes on the new hinge match the screw holes on the old hinge so I do not have to redrill the holes?
Unfortunately, hinge manufacturers have never standardized the location of their screw hole patterns. Every manufacturer puts their screw holes in a slightly different place. This means that when you replace hinges you will almost certainly have to do some filling and redrilling. The exception to this is Architectural door hinges which are built to a standardized template for each size hinge.
