Trying to find a better way to organize your home or office? Pivot slide hinges, also known as flipper door slides and pocket door slides, make it possible to keep things hidden away yet still within reach and easily accessible. Pivot door slides allow doors to pivot open up to 90 degrees and then slide back into the sides of the cabinet, making them particularly attractive for entertainment centers, armoires, and kitchen cabinets. At HardwareSource, we make it easy to find the precise type of hardware you need to complete any project in record time. We carry an assortment of sliding hinges, including heavy-duty slides, over-the-top slides, and non-face frame overlay hinges, just to name a few.

Could your entertainment center benefit from updated hardware? Sliding hinges make it easy to access TVs, DVD players, and other essentials. Over-the-top slides allow cabinet doors to be opened from the bottom, pivoted up, and slid back on top of the cabinet, making them ideal for installations up to a maximum 49” in width. These slides close with a “soft down” action, which slows the speed and dampens the closing action. Our selection of pivot door slides is stocked with a wide variety of hardware to accommodate all kinds of cabinetry configurations. Heavy-duty hardware is designed for frameless cabinets and “overlay” applications where there is no face frame.

We offer a variety of hinge kits to help make the process of installing our heavy-duty pivot door slides as easy as possible. Every hinge kit we supply is sold by the set. One set includes 2 hinges, 2 mounting plates, and 4 mounting plate spacers as well as all the screws and mounting plate covers you will need. With an array of finishes to choose from, including nickel and zinc, you are sure to find a solution that meets all your expectations in terms of appearance.

Type 1 Hinge Kit: Use the Type 1 Hinge Kit for “overlay” doors with a 3/4” thickness.

Type 2 Hinge Kit: Use the Type 2 Hinge Kit for “flush inset” doors with a door thickness from 3/4” to 13/16”.

Type 3 Hinge Kit: Use the Type 3 Hinge Kit for “flush inset” doors with a door thickness from 15/16” to 1 1/4”.

Pivot Door Slide Installation Tips:
