- A cane bolt can be used to secure one of the gates when you have a double gate. Once the first gate is secured, the second gate can be latched to the first gate with a gate latch.
- A cane bolt can also be used to secure any gate in the open position.
- Made from 1/2" steel and available in powder coated black or galvanized.
- Our galvanized coating is a true heavy galvanized coating, not the typical light zinc chromate plating.
- Comes with two hanging guides and a strike plate.

- Solid bronze cane bolt for use in coastal areas or anywhere a rustic old world design is desired. From our "Solid Bronze Collection".
- Cane bolt measures 20" tall. Mounting plates measure 2" by 4".
- Cane bolt features a large diameter 5/8" bolt.
- Wood screws and a keeper for the bottom of the bolt are included.
- Bronze is an old world material that does not deteriorate in coastal or other regions. The Bronze finish, however, is a "living" finish. This means that it changes over time in a way that most people find desirable. When bronze is exposed to air it will tarnish quickly and turn brown. When bronze is exposed to exterior elements it will turn green. This condition is known as "patina". This is also considered desirable by most people. These conditions are not considered "defects" but are part of the natural beauty of bronze.

- Heavy duty cane bolt (gate anchor) for livestock and other gates.
- Cane bolt features a spring loaded brake which will hold the cane bolt in any position. This can be used to keep the gate from swinging or sagging. To release the bolt simply push down on the lever.

- Mounting plate measures 4-3/4" tall by 3-1/2" wide. Will mount to flat gate frame or 2" diameter round gate frame.
